Christmas Caroling is this Saturday.  We will meet at the church at 6pm.  You can also meet at the Lackawanna Health Care Center at 6:30pm.

New Bible Study has started at Peckville UMC on Tuesday December 4th. The title is:  The Songs Of Advent, the study is only 4 weeks for the month of December.

 We are collecting food for the local food pantry.
 There is a shopping cart in the back of the Sanctuary.
 Please bring non perishable food items and help stock the pantry at this time of giving. 
Donations of cash will also be accepted by dropping it in  the offering plates, marked for food.

Tompkinsville United Methodist Church, 1448 Heart Lake Rd. (Route 107), Jermyn,
 is sponsoring a New Year's Day  pork and sauerkraut dinner from 2 to 4 p.m. 
The dinner will be take-out only.
The price of the meal is $10 for adults and $6 for children ages 10 and younger. 
Tickets are available at the door or from members of the church.


Because hospitals no longer call Pastor as it interferes with patient privacy, the Pastor asks the family of anyone in the hospital to please call him.

Peckville UMC, Poinsettia plants will be  sold in honor/memory of loved ones for Christmas.
Orders are due by Dec 10th to Bob Elvidge 903-3108.  Price/plant $ 10.00.
Color choices are red, pink, white, and marble.

S'MORES' FOR THE BREAD BASKET OF NEPA

                        A S'more party will be held on  the grounds of    the United Methodist Church at 732 Main St., Peckville on         Sunday, Sept.29th from 5:30 to 7:30 PM to benefit the Bread             Basket of Northeastern PA.*** Non perishable items and/or        monetary donations will help the food pantries in our area.
All are welcome to enjoy this time together for a good cause and we will need HELP. Join us for a cup of coffee or cocoa. For more info contact Tom or Bonny Taylor.
