 Advent Small Group:
Pastor Amy will be leading a small group based around our upcoming Advent focus called "Christmas is not Your Birthday".  The group will meet on Sundays at 5pm beginning November 27.  Register today by placing your name and contact info in the offering plate, or by contacting Pastor Amy.  


Because hospitals no longer call the Pastor as it interferes with patient privacy, the Pastor asks the family of anyone in the hospital to please call her.

PUMC News 11/20/2016

Today, as we prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving this month we will have two special offerings remembering those who this holiday and every other day will not have enough food for themselves or their families
1) Our placed non perishable food items are set at the altar
2) When we receive communion you may place a special offering which will go to the world hunger fund of our Annual Conference which supports food pantries and hunger projects both within our local area and beyond.

 Today is also our food and fellowship. Please join us downstairs after the service. You can bring a dish to share if you would like.

* There will be a community Thanksgiving Eve Service on Wed. Nov 23 at 7 pm at Holy Cross at St Patrick's in Olyphant. Everyone is invited to attend.

* This Saturday, November 28th, is our Red Door Café. It is an open lunch for anyone in our surrounding communities.

 Peckville: Tomorrow we will be making Welsh cookies.
If you can help in the process we start at 3:30.

NEXT SUNDAY, Nov 20th.  Tickets are available for the Roast Beef Dinner coming up this Saturday, November 12. You can get your tickets from Bonny 489-6093, Bob Elvidge 903-3108 and Paul or Susan Lucas 489-8042. Help is always needed. You can check with Fran Frey to see if cakes are needed also.

 Welsh Cookies are being made Monday, November 14th.
