The Wesley Village Campus  pastor has asked if we could help make Bingo a little more exciting as the residents love to play this. They would like to collect small items to be used as Bingo prizes, such as embroidered handkerchiefs, pot holders, wooden ornaments, knick-knacks, etc. There are three buildings at Wesley Village: Resident apartments, Personal Care and their Nursing facility. If you have small items that you would like to give, please bring them and we'll put them in a box in the back of the church and Bonny & Bud will deliver them to the Campus. If Bradley MUMC would like to be involved I (Marla) can pick them up each week when I drop off the bulletins.

Peace with Justice
There is an envelope in your bulletin for those who wish to give to this special offering for Peace with Justice.
We all need to be reminded of the needs of others with these special offerings for the United Methodist Church. Peace With Justice Sunday (first Sunday after Pentecost) enables
The United Methodist Church to have a voice in advocating for peace and justice through a broad spectrum of global programs.
Please leave the white envelope in the pew if you are not using it today.   Thank you.
THERE IS STILL LIFE LEFT IN THEIR SOLES
There will be a shoe drive until June 7th.  We are in need of gently worn shoes and they must be in pairs. Womens, Mens and Childrens.
If you have not already done your spring purging, please put your shoes aside for the church.
Put Your Best Foot Forward
by donating your new and gently used shoes to help micro-businesses around the world.  All types of footwear will be accepted as long as they are a complete pair and there is life left in their soles.
Mission Central is conducting a shoe collection drive to raise funds for our operating budget. Mission Central will earn funds based on the number of pairs collected, as Funds2Orgs will purchase all of the donated goods. Those dollars benefit Mission Central. YOU can help by donating gently worn, used or new shoes.
All donated shoes will then be redistributed throughout the Funds2Orgs network of microenterprise partners in developing nations. Funds2Orgs helps impoverished people start, maintain and grow business in countries such as Haiti, Honduras and other nations in Central America and Africa. Proceeds from the shoe sales are used to feed, clothe and house their families. One budding entrepreneur in Haiti even earned enough to send her son to law school. By donating shoes to the Mission Central, the shoes will be given a second chance and make a difference in people’s lives.
If you can't bring them to the church call 570-760-8233 and I'll come an pick them up. I'll be taking them to Annual Conference on June 10th ------ Tom Taylor

SKY LAKE
The annual Peckville UMC winter retreat at Sky Lake is approaching fast. The retreat runs Friday evening Jan 30st through Sunday early afternoon Feb 1st.  Sky Lake Camp & Retreat Center is located north of Binghamton NY just off or Rt. 17.
The weekend can be a time to relax, a time to enjoy outdoor winter activities, or a little of both it is up to you. Sledding, nature walks, possibly ice skating are just a few of the outdoor activities.
Friday evening you will find the group roasting hotdogs and marshmallows at the large fireplace.  This also is where most of us congregate during the weekend.  Games and music are impromptu and usually ongoing. Enjoy fellowship, singing or the peace that getting away for a while can bring. All the meals are provided by the great Sky Lake staff (three on Saturday and two on Sunday).                             Don’t get the idea that at Sky Lake Camp and Retreat Center you will be staying in drafty camp cabins. The facilities are modern and clean. The food is simple and delicious.
Give this weekend a try. We know that you will want to come back year after year once you have experienced Sky Lake through nature and Christian fellowship.
The cost for the weekend is:
Ages 3 - 12     $49.00
Ages 13  and up $96.00
